|
A slang term for a lens with an equivalent focal length of approximately 50 millimeters. Not wide angle nor telephoto.
A lens that makes the image in a photograph have a perspective similar
to that of the original scene. A normal lens for a 35mm camera is 50mm,
but varies on digital cameras depending on their "crop factor", or size
of the sensor relative top the size of 35mm film. It also differs on
medium and large format cameras due to the size of the film relative to
a 35mm frame.
